Why do i get really lightheaded and dizzy after drinking water?
during supper i usually drink anywhere between 2 – 4 glasses of water. last night, and this has happened before, after i was done drinking water i got dizzy, but not like when you’re about to throw up, and my head felt really dense between my eyes and made it feels really troublesome to look at things. why is this happening? should i see a doctor?

a couple issues here:
to answer your question, water can make you lightheaded and dizzy if it’s putting your body into detox mode. a lot of water, or really good quality water, can do this.
drinking 2-4 glasses of water with a meal is NOT a good idea. the water dilutes the acids and enzymes in your stomach, making it really hard to digest your food.
to get the most benefits from hydration: drink half of your daily needs for water in the morning, before eating anything.
to figure how much water you should drink a day:
-take your body weight (pounds) [example: 160 pounds]
-divide that number in half; this is how many ounces of water you should drink a day [80 ounces]
-divide THAT number in half, and that’s how much you want to drink in the morning [40 ounces, or 5 cups of water]
give those things a try, and report back!
don’t drink it so fast. slow down and sip. Why do you drink so much? i mean its not a bad thing, but i only drink like one or two. slow your roll, cowboy
hah! stop drinking water??
no im kidding water is delicious!!!!!
idk man, do what i do, get a phone book, dial ANY doctor and tell the receptionist your symptoms and ask her if its anything worth seeing a doctor about.. then she’ll tell you yes or no and what the problem is.
thats what i do. not to save $ or anything. Its just nice not having to leave the house, especially to sit in some doctor’s office..
