Why does Spring Water (like Arrowhead) have a weird aftertaste unlike standard purified waters like Dasani?

Water, especially clean and pure water is something that most of us probably take for granted. In the good old days of the distant past, most people could just drink tap water without any worries of any contamination. Nowadays, it is a completely different story.
